Studio Policy – Terms & Conditions

By enrolling in music lessons with Music Lessons Australia and making payment, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please carefully review this policy, as it governs all aspects of your lessons and payment obligations.

1. Payment Terms

1.1. Full payment for lessons is required prior to the scheduled lesson time.

1.2. By providing payment information, you authorise Music Lessons Australia to securely store your payment details for future lesson payments.

1.3. Any invoices unpaid for more than 30 days are subject to a 20% late fee.

1.4. Should you decide to discontinue lessons, all saved payment details will be removed from our system once all outstanding balances have been cleared.

2. Lesson Scheduling

2.1. Lessons are scheduled at times agreed upon between the student (or parent/guardian) and the instructor.

2.2. Music Lessons Australia reserves the right to adjust lesson times as necessary, with advance notice provided.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

3.1. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.

3.2. Lessons cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full and are not eligible for a credit.

3.3. Lessons cancelled with appropriate notice (24+ hours) may be rescheduled, subject to instructor availability.

4. Missed Lessons

4.1. Lessons missed without prior notice or cancellation will be charged at the full lesson rate.

4.2. In the event that a lesson is missed due to instructor unavailability, the lesson will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

5. Discontinuation Policy

5.1. Should you wish to discontinue lessons, you must provide written notice to Music Lessons Australia.

5.2. Any prepaid lessons that have not been attended will be credited toward future lessons only (not refunded), provided the cancellation notice period has been adhered to.

5.3. Refunds will only be issued in the event where no teacher is available to provide lessons.

6. Payment Information and Privacy

6.1. All payment details are securely stored in compliance with applicable data protection regulations and will be used exclusively for processing lesson payments.

6.2. Upon termination of lessons, your payment information will be promptly removed from our system after all outstanding balances are cleared.

7. Lesson Attendance

7.1. Lessons take place in the student’s home, and it is expected that the student is ready at the agreed-upon time. Instructors are not required to extend the lesson time if the student is not prepared or available at the scheduled start.

7.2. If the instructor arrives and the student is not present or prepared for the lesson, the lesson will still be charged at the full rate.

7.3. Repeated instances of tardiness or missed lessons without prior notice may result in the discontinuation of lessons.

8. Modifications to Studio Policy

8.1. Music Lessons Australia reserves the right to amend or update this Studio Policy at any time.
