Studio Policy 1


  • Lessons are booked on a weekly or fortnightly basis throughout the school term, your lesson will be scheduled for the same time each week.
  • Lessons are available during the school holidays and attendance is encouraged.
  • Lessons are not available on Public Holidays.
  • You will be automatically enrolled at the same lesson day & time for the remaining school terms of the current year. If there are necessary changes to the day or time of the lessons in the new term, you must confirm these changes with the support team no more than two weeks prior to the start of a new term.
  • There is no obligation to continue lessons with the teachers of Music Lessons Australia after your trial lesson.

Lessons for the 2023 School Year will be running through the following dates:

Term 1: 27th January – 6th April
Term 2: 24th April – 30th June
Term 3: 17th July – 22nd September
Term 4: 9th October – 19th December


  • From February 1st, 2023, payment is required before your lesson schedule is confirmed.
  • All lesson payments will be processed through our website via secure digital payment methods (PayPal or Stripe).
  • Our support team will share the secure link to finalise your enrolment. Please enrol via this link and provide your preferred payment details.
  • In enrolling via our secure online platform, you agree to either a weekly or termly billing schedule, where your payment method will be charged weekly or termly.

    Overdue Invoice Policy

    • Invoices that are left overdue for 45 days are subject to late fees.

    Annual Policy Amendments

    • At the beginning of the calendar year, lesson prices will increase by no more than $2. A formal notice will be emailed and posted to confirm the new lesson prices.


    Student Cancellations

    • The cancellation policy outlined below applies to both trial & ongoing lessons.
    • If a student wishes to cancel a lesson, please either cancel the lesson from the Teachworks Calendar or email
    • Lessons cancelled with 24 hours notice will be credited or rescheduled.
    • Students with planned absences will not be charged if we are notified of the dates in advance.
    • Lessons cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson will be charged for.
    • All lesson credits will be applied to your account at the end of each term. 
    • If you choose not to continue lessons into the New Term and have credits available, you can request to refund your credits back to your original payment method. 
    • Credits never expire.

    Teacher Cancellations

    • If your teacher is unavailable for your scheduled lesson, the lesson will be credited or rescheduled.

    Prepaid Term Cancellations

    • Refunds for cancellations of 3 or more lessons due to a “change of mind” will result in a 10% GST service charge, and an additional processing fee of $50 will be applied.
    • If requested, refunds may be held in credit against your account for future lessons.
